Celebrating the achievements of M&A professionals within the Midlands, the Insider Awards are highly coveted within the industry – so we’re delighted to announce our Corporate Finance division have been shortlisted for two of them!
Smith Cooper Corporate Finance have been nominated for the prestigious SME Advisory Team of the Year award, having previously won this award in both the East and West Midlands, and International Deal of the Year – a first for the team, and confirmation of their growing international presence.
The transaction for which the team have been nominated involved Kuwait-based food retail group KFG, which sold Kout Food Group New Chicken, an operator of around 25 KFC stores, to the largest KFC operator in the UK – Herbert Group – for an undisclosed sum.

The awards ceremony takes place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole in September.
