Smith Cooper Corporate Finance, the specialist corporate finance division of Smith Cooper, have been shortlisted for 4 awards at the East Midlands Dealmakers Awards, as voted for by a panel of industry experts and judges.
The prestigious Insider Dealmaker awards are an annual recognition of the achievements of firms, funders and individuals driving the region’s deal making sector, and the perfect opportunity to celebrate the very best M&A work carried out in the East Midlands.
The process and client contact elements of deal-making may have changed over the last 12 months as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, but deal activity has remained robust, with more than 400 M&A deals completed in the region last financial year, which is in line with previous years.
This level of activity is reflected in the number of nominations submitted to Insider, with more than 280 individuals, deals and organisations nominated, showcasing how well the deal-making community has adapted to the challenging business landscape in the past year.

- Deal Of The Year (under £10m) – MBO of Fabrikat
- Deal Of The Year (above £10m) – Chandlers acquisition of Lister Wilder’s Agco Division
