Wednesday 19th June played host to our 4th annual cycling sportive, which saw cyclists take to the Derbyshire hills alongside UCI Continental cycling professionals, Vitus Pro Cycling team powered by Brother UK.
This year we welcomed more riders than ever, with over 60 donning their cycling gear and heading out into the peak district alongside some of the UK’s top cyclists.
Despite weather warnings, and the threat of torrential rain, hail and lightning (what British summertime?) the rain managed to hold off just long enough for our cyclists to complete one of the two routes that were on offer.
After the ride the Vitus Pro team held a Q&A session which provided guests with the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the inner workings of a professional cycling team, what makes them tick and what keeps them motivated.
