Man in suit wearing glassesWe are delighted to welcome Tax Advisor Adam Rollason to the team, whose role will focus upon driving forward all aspects of the firm’s tax operations in our Birmingham office.

A Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Adam joins from Grant Thornton where he previously worked as a Private Business Tax Manager. One of 5 nominees for the  Future Faces of Finance in the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Future Faces awards which took place on Friday 28th August, Adam shows great potential having amassed 12 years’ experience in roles spanning several disciplines and jurisdictions, curating a fantastic reputation at the same time.

Adam will be joining a progressive tax division that offers both corporate and personal tax services, experts in helping clients plan a tailored and tax-efficient approach to every aspect of their business and/or personal life.

Our specialist corporate tax division, of which Adam will be a key member, advises on all types of national and international transactions, from mergers and acquisitions, to sales and reconstructions, providing advice that is both flexible and practical. Working alongside experts in other specialist divisions, the team co-ordinate and deliver a holistic range of transactional advisory services, helping clients optimise their tax position and navigate complex taxation considerations, whilst considering the most suitable strategic options that are available.

In light of his new role, Adam comments “I am delighted to be joining Smith Cooper to head up the tax advisory offering across the West Midlands. Having met with a number of the firm’s partners over recent months and listened to their ambitious plans for the future, I knew that this was the right place for me to be on taking my first step into leadership.”
