Digital marketing agency Hallam internet has merged with BigSpring, a web design and development agency.  The deal results in an agency with 36 employees and annual revenues approaching £3m.

The combined agency will retain the Hallam brand and Hallam founder and Managing Director Susan Hallam will continue to lead the business.

The merger reinforces the Hallam full service digital marketing offering with a series of new digital  design and development services including mobile app development, UX, web and ecommerce, and graphic design. The robust team of digital developers is led by Technical Director Jon Martin. The BigSpring  client roster includes the BBC, Raleigh Bikes, and Jaegermeister. Hallam’s clients include the United Nations, The Money Shop, and Experian.

Julio Taylor, one of the founding partners of BigSpring, reinforces the importance of the merger. “We have always focused on building strong relationships with our clients, and delivering a service that is unsurpassed both regionally and nationally. The merger of our two businesses will consolidate our position and accelerate our growth. The whole BigSpring team is looking forward to this new and exciting future.”

BigSpring has now moved into newly acquired space in the Hallam’s Nottingham city centre offices. The new offices increased their previous floor space, creating room for the continued planned growth of the business.

Mike Hallam, Commercial Director commented “The digital landscape  is evolving and our merger will give us real competitive advantage .We are seeing a massive change in how clients work alongside their agency partners, and we are adapting to service them whilst still remaining profitable.”
