Depending on the position and level of the job, the application process will vary and tailored to be most efficient to the role we are recruiting for. We have outlined the components that could make up the process below. In every instance, you will be notified ahead of time what will be required of you. We wish you all the best in your application journey!

Stage 1:

Apply for your desired role online. Follow the pathway on each of our vacancies to upload your CV and a covering letter. For graduate roles you’ll also be required to complete an application form. These documents will then be reviewed by our HR team and the hiring manager, and successful candidates will be shortlisted.

Stage 2:

Depending on the volume of applicants and the seniority of the role, the following steps could be required:

Telephone interview. This is usually with our HR team to find out more about you and you can expect this to last approximately 30 minutes.

Online assessments. For our graduate roles, you will be required to complete a group of online assessments to help us find out more about the kind of person you are, the way you think and your working style. You will be provided with login details and will be expected to complete these within a week.

Stage 3:

Manager interview. We will invite you to our office to meet with the hiring manager. Unless specified beforehand, you are not required to prepare anything, but it may be handy to bring a copy of your covering letter and CV. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Assessment day. For our graduate schemes we may hold an assessment day with other candidates in our office. This is made up of group and individual exercises, which we use to determine your suitability for the role and test skills which are not assessable from a traditional interview.

Stage 4:

Partner interview. The final stage of the application process will be an interview with the Partner, which could last up to an hour. This is likely to be your last chance to show us why you’d be a great addition to the team, so seize the opportunity!

If you’re a good fit for us – we’ll offer you a job, usually within 3 days of your final interview. Welcome to #TeamSC! Regardless of the outcome, we hope you find the application process a positive experience. If you would like feedback from your interview, please contact our HR team who will be happy to arrange a call with you.
