Smith Cooper help to build construction business Monday, 7th September 2009
Nottingham-based chartered accountants and business advisors Smith Cooper, have teamed up with the Nottingham Construction Forum (NCF) to sponsor the construction industry’s most prestigious event of the year.
Smith Cooper, which is based on Haydn Road in the city, is sponsoring The 2009 Nottinghamshire Construction Symposium, which takes place on 7 October at New College in Nottingham.
More than 300 construction professionals are expected to attend this year’s event, which will focus on theme of ‘innovation = sustained success’ and provide delegates with a wealth of industry knowledge, news, products and services.
Smith Cooper IT will be presenting its range of Sage software along with Sage UK and will be running dedicated break-out sessions. The main session will demonstrate Sage Construction and explain how it can control contracts, retentions and applications for payment as well as CIS and other industry specific requirements. They will also be presenting finance, payroll and CRM solutions to control every aspect of a business.
The NCF is the only pan-industry organisation for construction in the county and its annual construction symposium aims to bring together industry professionals from across the region - ranging from sharp-end contractors and architects to surveyors and training providers.
