Smith Cooper make an exibition of themselves

Smith Cooper have teamed up with one of the Midlands’ most prolific artists, Sue Verity to host a special art exhibition - and are now inviting other local artists to exhibit their work with the firm.

Smith Cooper, which is based on Haydn Road, will be exhibiting some of Sue’s latest signed celebrity portraits, cityscapes and landscapes for 2 months in its meeting rooms and is hosting a special event for its clients and other local businesses on Monday 26th April - (6pm – 8pm) to launch the exhibition.

Former England Test cricketer and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Vice President , Chris Broad will join the team at Smith Cooper on the night to officially open the exhibition.

Sue specialises in painting iconic portraits of idols from the big screen, sporting heroes and music legends from past and present – she also paints cityscapes and landscapes of famous places from around the world.

At the event, guests will be treated to a buffet and drinks reception before having the chance to meet Chris Board and take a look at some of Sue’s latest pieces including signed paintings of Lee Westwood, Ryan Giggs and Katherine Jenkins.

Smith Cooper is committed to supporting to the county’s thriving arts scene and has decided to offer other local artists and galleries the opportunity to showcase their work for up to two months to businesses that visit Smith Cooper’s office, from across the region.

Commenting on the event Steve Tysoe, partner at Smith Cooper, said:

“Sue is a credit to the arts scene in the Midlands and we are very proud to be exhibiting her work in our offices for our guests to enjoy on the evening and in the coming weeks when they visit us.”
