June the 30th sees the release of Sage 200 2010. Sage 200 is an integrated, intuitive and flexible suite of software, giving one view of your business. Built on a platform of industry leading financial, CRM and business intelligence software Sage 200 enables you to streamline end to end business processes and empower you to make smarter business decisions with confidence.
There are a number of new features that enhance the existing set of feature rich modules.
Sage 200 Mobile
The emergence of the Mobile workforce is changing the face of business. People can communicate where ever they are and this opens up new ways of working and new markets. With this release Sage 200 data is now accessible to view and search via certain Blackberry’s and allows customers to work smarter enabling a more productive workforce that is more cost effective. New Sage report Designer
Most reports can be migrated across to the new report designer, but we still provide the old report designer to run alongside so you can amend or upgrade bespoke reports. The new report designer and underlying reporting layer are easier to use and more intuitive. It also gives customers moving from Sage 50 a smoother upgrade experience. Better Purchase Order Authorisation
Customers now have full control over their authorisation processes. This makes the order process more secure, yet flexible enough approach to meet their needs. Users can also get email alerts about orders needing authorisation, so purchase orders are not held up when people are out of the office. Improved Project Accounting reporting
There is now the ability to create new reports within this module and also six new reports: Cist Transaction report, Revenue Transaction Report, Nominal Transaction report, Cost Analysis Report, Revenue Analysis Report & Profitability Transaction Report. Analysis Code Alignment
We’ve streamlined analysis codes across the modules – each area can now have up to 20 analysis codes. All analysis codes in Sage 200 are now formulated in the same manner and held against the individual module records so reporting on these codes will be far easier allowing the customer to get the information out of the system they require.
