Smith Cooper welcomes new graduate trainees

As part of its ongoing growth strategy, Smith Cooper is pleased to welcome three new graduates to the Audit team as Graduate Audit Assistants. The ACCA has recently renewed the firms Platinum Employer Status in recognition of its continuing commitment to progressing its trainees’ careers as finance professionals.

Mohammed Imran joins the firm having graduated from Derby University with a 2:1 in Accounting and Finance in 2014. He has previously been working for Boots as a finance assistant. On joining Smith Cooper he said, “I am very excited to be a part of a leading accountancy firm working with talented people and I look forward to a bright future here at Smith Cooper”.

Alex Symonds joins Smith Cooper having recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University studying Financial Mathematics. Of his appointment at Smith Cooper he said, “I am absolutely thrilled to become a part of this rapidly progressing firm and I am thoroughly excited to become a part of the journey”.

Dan Dobrzycki has also joined the firm having graduated from Loughborough University with a Sports Science and Business degree.

Sarah Flear, Partner in the Nottingham office, commented, “Smith Cooper has always prided itself on our commitment to training our staff and continuing to nurture and recognise the future talent in the accountancy profession. We have always regarded our staff as our most important asset and welcome both Mohammed and Alex to our growing team.
