Midlands based accountancy and business advisory firm Smith Cooper have recently announced the promotion of three members of its specialist Business Recovery and Insolvency team.
Emily Oliver, who joined Smith Cooper in 2009 and obtained her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency last year, has been promoted to Assistant Manager. In addition, Kimberley Wapplington, who has been working with distressed businesses and individuals for more than 5 years, has been promoted to Senior Insolvency Administrator Furthermore, Sam Thompson who joined the team in September last year under an ACCA training contract has been promoted to Insolvency Administrator

The promotions come at a time where the Business Recovery and Insolvency division has rapidly grown as a result of the economic climate and extremely difficult trading conditions.

Emily commented on her promotion: “I have really enjoyed working at Smith Cooper and am now really looking forward to applying everything I’ve learnt in my new role as Assistant Manager”.
