Derby City Council have secured £40m of the Regional Growth Fund to grow enterprise and jobs in Derby and its travel to work area.
Of this £40m, £20m has been made available to support business growth and job creation. The Derby Enterprise Growth Fund (DEGF) will support up to a maximum of 30% of the total project costs for businesses.
The DEGF are offering funding based on three main areas:
Innovation – Which could involve R&D of products, processes and systems which will result in business and supply chain efficiency, resilience, growth and profitability.
Expansion – For businesses with growth plans across all sectors
Investment – a Co-investment fund that will make available risk capital and equity for investments in the region of £50k to £1 million for high growth potential and early stage businesses
