Smith Cooper partners James Bagley, Partner in the Nottingham office, and David Nelson, Partner in the Derby office are taking part in the Prudential Ride London – Surrey 100 Bike Ride on 31st July 2016. Starting in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park the route follows a 100 mile course through closed roads in the capital and onto Surrey's country roads and hills.
The duo are raising money for WellChild, the national charity which works to ensure the best possible care and support for the thousands of children and young people in the UK living with long-term or complex health conditions. Their goal is to raise a minimum of £900 for the charity and they welcome any donations to help them achieve this target.
James Bagley said, “WellChild is such a worthy cause and I am pleased to be raising money for them. David and I are asking all our contacts and friends to support us in our challenge.”
David Nelson also commented, “WellChild provide an invaluable service for children and young people in the UK with quite specific needs and we are proud to be supporting them through this event. We hope to be able to raise well in excess of the minimum target we have set ourselves.”
