Insolvency Case Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insolvency Case Administrator to join our progressive accountancy and business advisory firm based in the Midlands.

Smith Cooper offers a full range of accountancy services, with several offices across the Midlands, known for providing bespoke advisory services to both individuals and corporates. Senior members of the team are Big 4 or locally trained, creating a unique blend of local expertise and high profile projects.

As the Insolvency Case Administrator, you will be expected to:

  • Run insolvency cases from inception to closure, manage and organise caseloads consisting of: CVLs, MVLs, ADMs, WUCs, CVAs, BKYs and IVAs,
  • Draft correspondence and statutory/bank reports liaising regularly with creditors, debtors and all interested parties,
  •  Support junior members of the team with case management and senior members with more complex level cases.

The successful applicant will be expected to deal with a varied caseload, with an ability to work autonomously, being able to produce written reports and deliverables to a high standard.  A good understanding of the current insolvency legislation is therefore crucial, and qualifications such as CPI or AAT will be an advantage.

Any applicant must have a full driving licence with access to a car.
